Wait, what is a UFO Plushie? - This style of plush doll got their names based on the vending
machines in Japan where they originate. The specific UFO Catcher machines made by Sega, had a
crane style game where the player could 'catch' prizes with their UFO themed crane. The prizes that
came out have been referred to as UFO Catchers. Generally, these plush dolls are 'chibi' (which
means 'mini' ) style with a large face, small body, and large feet. The original UFO Catcher dolls
come from Japan, so they are usually Japanese characters from video games and animation,
however, sometimes there are famous celebrities and non-Japanese characters! Anything can be
made into a UFO Plushie! Even......YOU!!!! XD
